Housekeeping Room Inspector

About the Role

General Hotels Corporation is currently hiring a Housekeeping Room Inspector for the Fairfield Inn and Suites located in Shelbyville, KY. This role is responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms meet established cleanliness and quality standards, supervising daily housekeeping activities, and supporting housekeeping management with various operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of all vacant guest rooms and perform periodic spot-checks in occupied rooms within assigned areas.
• Verify that each guest room is properly stocked with necessary amenities and linens as per company standards.
• Ensure that guest rooms meet cleanliness requirements and that assigned cleaning duties have been completed satisfactorily.
• Supervise housekeeping staff on the floor, overseeing their daily workflow and promptly reporting any concerns to housekeeping management.
• Provide assistance to housekeeping managers with office-related duties, including managing lost and found items, handling phone calls, and other housekeeping operational tasks.
• Support the team by helping with cleaning rooms or laundry tasks when needed.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned by management.
• Maintain a courteous and helpful demeanor in all interactions with guests.
