About the Role
Join our hotel team in Lucknow as a Housekeeping Associate, where you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. This full-time position requires working rotational shifts including weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and upkeep guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, lobby, and other public spaces thoroughly.
- Change linens, towels, and replenish guest supplies consistently.
- Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing tasks following hotel standards.
- Prepare rooms for guest arrivals by ensuring cleanliness and order.
- Report maintenance problems, damages, or lost and found items to supervisors promptly.
- Operate housekeeping tools and cleaning chemicals safely and properly.
- Dispose of waste correctly to maintain hygiene.
- Manage housekeeping stock and supplies efficiently.
- Adhere to hotel SOPs and safety protocols rigorously.
- Respond swiftly to housekeeping-related guest requests.
- Collaborate with Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and courteous interaction with guests.
Skills and Qualifications
- Basic understanding of housekeeping processes and standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness.
- Good time management and ability to work productively.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Physically capable of performing housekeeping tasks.
- Positive mindset oriented towards customer service.
Education: Minimum completion of 10th or 12th grade. Hotel Management or Housekeeping diploma/certificate is advantageous but not compulsory.
