Overview

The Brantham Ward is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and motivated housekeeper to support the Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU) across several areas. This role involves maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and providing a high-quality service to patients. Effective communication is essential as the role requires collaboration with Estates and Facilities, Engineering and Medical Equipment (EME), nursing teams, and Sodexo staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of clinical equipment when not in patient use.
  • Report equipment faults, repairs, or maintenance issues and coordinate necessary interventions.
  • Restock equipment as needed to ensure readiness.
  • Create a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Support monitoring and upholding cleaning standards on the ward, reporting concerns to the ward sister as appropriate.
