Overview
The Brantham Ward is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and motivated housekeeper to support the Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU) across several areas. This role involves maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and providing a high-quality service to patients. Effective communication is essential as the role requires collaboration with Estates and Facilities, Engineering and Medical Equipment (EME), nursing teams, and Sodexo staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of clinical equipment when not in patient use.
- Report equipment faults, repairs, or maintenance issues and coordinate necessary interventions.
- Restock equipment as needed to ensure readiness.
- Create a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Support monitoring and upholding cleaning standards on the ward, reporting concerns to the ward sister as appropriate.
