Hotel Reservations Agent

Position Overview

The renowned four-star Grand Hotel, Malahide, part of the FBD Hotels & Resorts group, is searching for a dedicated Reservations Agent to become an integral member of their Sales & Reservations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage reservation bookings efficiently.
• Provide support with individual reservation queries to fellow reservation agents.
• Comply strictly with hotel standard operating procedures and company policies.
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards consistently.
• Collaborate in yield management initiatives to meet accommodation goals and optimize occupancy across both hotel properties.
• Help ensure accurate control and monitoring of room inventory.
• Use the hotel's direct Content Management System (CMS), online travel agency extranets, and channel managers for rate updates, guest communications, and collecting post-stay feedback.
• Assist management in preparing departmental reports for both locations.
• Manage rate codes, group booking platforms, and system utilizations effectively.
• Support the Departmental Manager in daily department operations for both hotels.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in a similar reservations role within the hotel industry.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Keen attention to detail with high accuracy in work.
• Adaptable to varying daily tasks and responsibilities.
• Customer service-oriented with a commitment to high standards.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
