Host/Hostess

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to welcome guests, manage seating arrangements, and maintain a high standard of service at our establishment located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role involves greeting guests upon arrival, guiding them to their tables, and ensuring the dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and determine the size of their party.
• Escort guests to clean, available tables, assist with seating, and present menus.
• Arrange tables and chairs to accommodate groups with special requirements.
• Ensure place settings are complete with napkins, clean silverware, and standard dining items.
• Check that menus are up-to-date, clean, and plentiful.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas consistently, applying a clean-as-you-go approach.
• Monitor availability of seating, oversee guest safety and wellbeing.
• Adhere strictly to company safety, security, and hygiene policies and report any unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, colleagues, and management.
• Provide assistance with telephonic etiquette and support team goals collaboratively.
• Perform physical tasks involving standing, walking for long periods, and handling objects up to 10 pounds.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
• No licenses or certifications needed.
