Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with enthusiasm and a friendly approach, always seeking to enhance their dining experience.
• Develop thorough knowledge of all menu items, current promotions, and special offers to competently answer guests' questions.
• Accurately take and process food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale system, ensuring timely delivery with meticulous attention to detail.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and sufficient stock levels at the food service station throughout service hours.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations to protect the wellbeing of guests and colleagues.
• Greet guests as they arrive, verify reservations and special requests, assist with seating selections, and provide menus.
• Manage reservation systems effectively by recording daily inputs to support clear communication between shifts and management.
• Arrange dining room setups in alignment with reservations and seating plans.
• Handle reservation and special event arrangements accurately and courteously.
• Respond promptly and politely to telephone inquiries, taking clear messages as needed and relaying them swiftly to the relevant personnel.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant’s seating layout.
• Address guest inquiries with efficiency and a positive attitude.
• Report any issues following proper procedures.
• Adhere strictly to Hilton's grooming, uniform, and hygiene standards.
• Comply with all hotel security, fire safety, and health regulations.
• Carry out opening and closing duties, including assisting colleagues with cleaning, restocking, and napkin folding tasks.
