Role Overview
Are you eager to take your optical assistant skills out into the community? Join us as a Home Visits Optical Assistant, where you will bring essential eye care services directly to individuals unable to visit our stores. This position offers a fulfilling change of pace by visiting patients in their own homes, enhancing personalized care and positively impacting community wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional optical services by traveling to a variety of patient locations within a broad regional area spanning from Romford to Colchester and Bishop's Stortford to Southend-on-Sea.
- Provide tailored eye care to patients in environments that vary daily, ensuring significant one-on-one interaction and patient comfort.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the diverse needs of the client base.

Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging from £27,000 to £29,000, dependent on experience.
- A car allowance amounting to £3,000 per year to cover travel expenses.
- Performance-based bonus typically between £2,000 and £3,000 annually.
- Regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, although flexibility is necessary.

Candidate Requirements
- At least 6 months to 1 year of current or recent experience in optical services with confidence in dispensing at all levels.
- A valid full UK driving license is essential for this role.
