About the Role
We are hiring Home Delivery Drivers who take pride in delivering excellent customer service while on the road. This role involves handling and delivering shopping orders and interacts directly with customers, serving as the face of the company. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure proper and safe loading of delivery vans, including handling heavy items and practicing manual lifting techniques.
- Adhere to safe driving standards at all times during deliveries.
- Perform regular checks on vans to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain the quality and condition of food items through safe transportation.
- Deliver excellent customer service while interacting with clients during deliveries.
- Assist with store activities as needed to support team operations.
- Work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Be flexible to work various shift patterns, with hours varying between 6am and 11pm.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a full driving license held for a minimum of three years, with no more than six penalty points.
- Demonstrate a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer experiences.
- Have punctuality and the ability to work effectively under deadlines.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of road safety principles and conscientious driving behavior.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay rate of £13.71
