Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Follow correct and safe procedures for loading the delivery van, including heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Consistently maintain safe driving habits and adherent to road safety regulations.
• Carry out vehicle checks prior to departure to ensure safety and reliability.
• Deliver groceries ensuring that food items are maintained in the best possible condition during transportation.
• Provide friendly and professional interaction with customers, representing the company’s values.
• Support store operations when necessary by assisting with various in-store tasks.
• Work independently while managing time effectively to adhere to delivery windows.
• Be flexible to accommodate shift schedules which can vary from early morning at 6am until late evening at 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for a minimum of three years with a clean record (no more than six penalty points).
• Display a positive and approachable attitude with a strong dedication to delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines reliably.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding and awareness of road safety standards.
