Role Overview
This Dubai-based opportunity is for an experienced Head Sommelier who can create memorable wine-led dining moments for a high-end, international clientele. The position is suited to someone who enjoys shaping elevated guest experiences in a luxury fine dining environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver distinctive wine experiences that complement the dining journey.
- Guide guests on thoughtful wine and food pairings.
- Oversee wine stock levels and maintain proper inventory control.
- Support and coach the service team on wine knowledge and presentation.
- Provide polished VIP wine service with attention to detail.
Requirements
- Prior background in luxury fine dining is required.
- WSET certification, or an equivalent qualification, is preferred.
- Strong spoken and written English skills are necessary.
- Ability to confidently engage with guests and build rapport is important.
Compensation
The offered pay is AED 10,000 to 15,000 per month, along with service charge, tips, and additional benefits.
