Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the product development lifecycle from conceptualization through production for furniture and home décor hard goods.
• Coordinate and verify Time & Action (T&A) calendars to ensure timely project milestones.
• Create and update product specification sheets in partnership with design and technical teams.
• Organize and facilitate Pre-Production Meetings (PPM) and pilot production runs to guarantee readiness.
• Monitor and obtain Ready-to-Produce (RTP) approvals by meeting all pre-production criteria.
• Track production progress across vendors and product lines, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate and review product testing such as drop and transit tests, and oversee labelling compliance with buyer and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain assembly instructions, carton markings, and related product documentation with strict accuracy.
• Audit and compile inspection reports for internal and buyer sanctions.
• Resolve production problems collaboratively with factory and internal teams.
• Manage photoshoot sample preparation and delivery logistics, keeping detailed tracking of sample deadlines.
• Coordinate with vendors and Quality Assurance to ensure lab test adherence and record-keeping.
• Maintain transparent and prompt communication channels with buyers and vendors to prevent delays and quality lapses.
• Keep production trackers and master data sheets updated for clear operational visibility.

Required Skills and Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook with strong capabilities in data management, reporting, and presentations.
• Solid understanding of hard goods materials such as wood, metal, marble, glass, leather, and ceramic.
• Familiarity with packaging standards relevant to hard goods.
• Up to three years’ experience preferred in furniture or hard goods merchandising; fresh graduates may be considered for internships.
• Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Strong vendor management and follow-up abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly to factory sites for meetings, sampling, and inspections.
