Gym Attendant

About the Role

A prestigious luxury lifestyle hotel located in central Dubai is actively looking for a motivated and guest-oriented Gym Attendant to become part of its Recreation & Wellness division. This position suits candidates enthusiastic about health and fitness, who enjoy engaging with guests and are dedicated to fostering a safe, clean, and inviting environment within the fitness center.

Key Duties

• Greet visitors at the fitness center and offer courteous, professional assistance.
• Ensure gym equipment is cleaned regularly, kept in good working condition, and promptly report any faults.
• Carry out routine checks of the fitness area and communicate maintenance or safety issues without delay.
• Keep the gym, locker rooms, and wellness areas tidy and well-organized.
• Educate guests on the proper and safe usage of gym equipment and enforce facility regulations.
• Maintain adherence to health, safety, and sanitation protocols consistently.
• Oversee guest entrance, manage inquiries, and handle bookings related to recreational amenities.
• Collaborate effectively with Recreation and Engineering departments to guarantee an exceptional guest experience.

What We Are Looking For

• Prior experience serving as a Gym, Recreation, or Fitness Attendant within hotels, resorts, fitness clubs, or wellness centers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills combined with a strong commitment to customer service.
• Fundamental familiarity with gym machinery operation and fitness safety standards.
• Relevant fitness certification or First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
• A positive mindset along with a willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and public holidays.
• Experience within the UAE or GCC hospitality sector is advantageous.
