Grocery Associate

Position Summary

Joining Walmart Canada as a Grocery Associate offers a valuable opportunity to enhance your retail and customer service skills. In this role, you will provide outstanding customer care by embodying Walmart's core beliefs and values, maintain and organize the grocery department, and support stocking and sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the grocery department effectively.
• Rotate inventory regularly and inspect products for expiration dates.
• Ensure all merchandise is clearly labeled and accurately priced.
• Comply with food safety protocols and maintain sanitation standards.
• Adhere to procedures for ordering, clearance, price adjustments, and product labeling.
• Keep the department fully stocked and prepared for customers.
• Follow Health and Safety regulations at all times.
• Perform stocking duties, including picking and downstocking where necessary; apply product protection measures; arrange modular displays including flex modulars and update shelf caps.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.00 CAD.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
