About the Role
BlueEdge Digital Marketing Agency is seeking a talented Graphics Designer to join their team at the Rankin Location 15 D, Ontario, Canada. This full-time, on-site position requires at least two years of professional experience and involves creating captivating visual content for clients and internal purposes, including social media graphics, marketing brochures, branding materials, and AI-enhanced video content.
Key Responsibilities
- Design engaging social media visuals, advertising banners, flyers, brochures, and branding assets.
- Produce and edit short video clips utilizing AI-powered video editing software.
- Develop UI elements for web and app platforms when requested.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure designs align with campaign objectives.
- Ensure brand consistency on both client-facing and internal projects.
- Handle multiple design assignments efficiently and meet project deadlines.
- Keep abreast of the latest design trends and AI technologies to recommend creative enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in graphic design roles.
- Practical knowledge of AI-based video editing tools such as Runway, CapCut AI, Adobe Premiere's AI features, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with Canva considered an asset.
- A strong portfolio presenting diverse work, including social media, branding, print, and AI-edited videos.
- Good grasp of color theory, typography, and layout design principles.
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and iterate designs rapidly.
- Availability to work full-time on-site.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in traditional video editing and motion graphics using tools like After Effects and Premiere Pro to complement AI capabilities.
- Exposure to designing for clients based in the US or international markets.
- Basic knowledge of Figma or web design fundamentals.
- Understanding of AI-driven image generation tools.
