Job description
Job Overview
This role requires an experienced graphic artist to create and adapt illustrations primarily in an animation studio setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing both 2-D and 3-D animated drawings, as well as realistic sketches and final illustrations that align with client objectives.
Responsibilities
- Modify and enhance existing illustrations to meet project needs
- Create realistic or representational sketches and finalize them into completed illustrations
- Produce two-dimensional and three-dimensional animated drawings or digital illustrations
- Develop graphic components that support client goals and project requirements
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency with tools such as Houdini, NUKE, Adobe Suite, Autodesk Maya, Microsoft Office, and Python
- Experience in animation and visual effects production art
Work Environment
This full-time position is located on-site in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, within an animation studio, with no opportunities for remote work.
Education and Experience
Candidates should possess a trades certificate or diploma and have between 2 and 3 years of relevant experience.
Language Requirements
Proficiency in English is required.
