About the Role

Good Day People, a company dedicated to creating lively and memorable gift hampers, is seeking a Gift Pick Packer to join our close-knit team during our peak festive season, from September to December 2026. This in-person casual position is located in Brookvale, Sydney, and is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and accurately pack customer orders, ensuring each hamper maintains the brand's high-quality standards.
• Keep the warehouse organized, tidy, and safe at all times.
• Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting of heavy items such as bottles and gourmet food products.
• Monitor and maintain workplace health and safety protocols.
• Assist wherever needed to ensure smooth workflow and timely fulfillment of orders.
• Utilize Shopify for processing and tracking orders.
• Work in a collaborative and upbeat environment, enjoying music as you go about your tasks.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in order picking, packing, or logistics is desirable.
• Physically able to handle some heavy lifting and warehouse duties.
• Quick, accurate, and methodical in your work approach.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when required.
• Experience using Shopify, preferably in a warehouse or retail context, is an advantage.
• Commitment to safety procedures and regulations is expected.

Additional Information

• This is a casual position running from September to December 2026.
• You can expect to work 2–3 days per week in September and October, with full-time hours likely during November and December.
• The warehouse is located in Brookvale, which is close to beaches and local cafes.
