Geospatial Estimator

Role overview

IO Geomatics LTD is hiring a Geospatial Estimator in Ireland. This position suits someone who is commercially aware, well organised, and comfortable managing work from the first client enquiry through to project handover. You will help make sure each job is clearly defined, accurately priced, and ready for the delivery team.

What you will do

• Speak with clients to understand what they need.
• Examine specifications and put together quotations.
• Calculate pricing for survey assignments and build fixed-price estimates.
• Track up quotations and keep the sales pipeline moving.
• Prepare the required project paperwork before field work begins.
• Pass awarded projects over to the operations team.

Working style

The role is mainly based in the office and on a computer, with occasional site visits for larger or more complex assignments when needed. The location is Balbriggan, Fingal, Ireland, with hybrid working available.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will already have experience in a similar estimating or commercial role and should feel confident handling enquiries, setting prices, and dealing directly with clients. A background in surveying, geospatial work, engineering, or construction would be helpful, though it is not mandatory.
