Role Overview

The General Manager reports directly to the Executive Chairman and holds responsibility for the comprehensive leadership, profitability, and operational success of Siyekhaya Estate. This role entails steering multiple business segments with a focus on strategic guidance, world-class customer service, and sustainable growth.

Primary Duties

• Formulate and execute strategic business plans for the Estate.
• Enhance revenue streams across diverse business units.
• Supervise operations including hospitality, events, food and beverage, property management, security, facilities, housekeeping, maintenance, landscaping, concierge, guest relations, and healthcare services.
• Prepare budgets and oversee financial performance.
• Establish strategic alliances and explore commercial prospects.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams to maximize performance.
• Ensure outstanding customer experience consistently.
• Maintain governance standards, ensure compliance, and manage risks effectively.

Required Credentials

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Advanced degrees such as an MBA or Master’s are advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years’ senior management experience.
• At least 5 years serving in roles like General Manager, Operations Director, or Executive Management.
• Proven record of managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Background in commercial enterprises, hospitality, tourism, healthcare, or property management.
