About the Opportunity
Join a globally recognized scientific services company in North Vancouver as a General Labourer, contributing to our busy summer operations within the warehouse and sample preparation areas. You'll be an essential part of a team focused on delivering high-quality results, upholding safety standards, and supporting daily logistics and laboratory work. Key Responsibilities
- Locate and move sample boxes onto carts for processing staff.
- Return, scan, and organize boxes in storage post-weighing activities.
- Assist with weighing samples and operating equipment (such as sieves, crushers, splitters) under supervision.
- Handle loading and unloading of drying ovens as directed.
- Maintain clear and accurate production records.
- Perform routine lab cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary work area.
- Assist with layout and logistical duties as instructed.
- Adhere to standardized procedures while ensuring analytical reliability.
- Follow all safety rules and company health regulations at all times.
- Take on any additional duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Preferred: Secondary school completion (Grade 12 diploma).
- Basic English reading and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Good hand-eye coordination and organizational abilities.
- Capacity to work independently and in team settings.
- Fundamental alphanumeric recognition skills.
Physical Demands
- Comfortable lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Able to sit and stand for periods extending up to 7.5 hours per shift.
- Manual dexterity for continuous, repetitive manual labor.

- Hourly wage between $20.26 and $22.77, based on your experience, training, and relevant abilities.
- Extra shift premiums: $2/hour for evening, $4/hour for night shifts, as relevant.
