Position Overview
This is a permanent, full-time role based in Mackay, Queensland, with day shift hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The hourly wage is $31.87, with additional overtime compensated at penalty rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and labour duties on site
- Load and unload industrial liquid waste and trucks
- Transfer waste from collection containers, focusing primarily on liquid waste trucks
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work environment
Candidate Profile
- Hold at least a C class driver's license
- Possess a valid forklift license (mandatory)
- Physically fit and capable of passing a pre-employment medical examination and drug screening
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt
- Uphold a zero-harm safety mindset
