VAARHAFT is an innovative startup focused on verifying the authenticity of digital media. In today's world of easily accessible generative AI, creating deepfakes has become simple, thus making it difficult to trust digital images and videos blindly. Our goal is to maintain the integrity of digital media and shield companies from fraud involving manipulated images, videos, and documents. We serve multiple industries where verifying digital image credibility is crucial, such as preventing insurance fraud and detecting forged documents in banking.

Role Summary

As a Research & Development Engineer, you will be integral to product creation and work at the core of VAARHAFT to realize our vision and secure our technological advantage. Your main task will be the strategic research and advancement of neural network-based model architectures to boost our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze current research breakthroughs and advanced technological methods.
Conceptualize, validate, and implement innovative processes to enhance our model performance continuously.
Drive innovation to ensure our technology remains industry-leading in combating manipulated digital content.

Qualifications

Master's degree in computer science, data science, machine learning, or a related quantitatively rigorous discipline.
Several years of demonstrated experience developing deep learning models and neural network architectures in computer vision.
Proven track record of independently managing and executing research initiatives.
Proficiency with AI application tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude-Code, Codex, and Gemini-CLI.
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindsets.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively working with cross-functional teams.
Self-driven, detail-focused, with enthusiasm for solving complex challenges.
Desirable: Familiarity with process automation platforms like N8N or Make is an advantage.
