Full-Time Onsite Delivery Driver

About the Role

Domino's Pizza is currently seeking dedicated delivery drivers to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers promptly and courteously.
• Operate delivery vehicles safely within designated delivery areas, including navigating multi-story buildings and various terrain.
• Utilize navigational skills to read maps and efficiently locate delivery addresses.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers as needed.
• Participate in inventory management, store preparation, and cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Handle customer orders accurately both in person and over the phone.
• Use store equipment such as computers, telephones, pizza cutters, and pizza peels.

Physical and Work Conditions

• Frequent standing, walking, and occasional climbing including navigation of stairs or ladders.
• Lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, including cases of ingredients and trays of pizza dough.
• Exposure to varying indoor temperatures from cooler (36°F) to hot work areas (up to 90°F and above) and outdoor weather conditions while delivering.
• Continuous use of hands for tasks requiring precise motor coordination.
• Ability to handle potentially hazardous kitchen environments with hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record according to company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations accurately for handling cash transactions.
• Good vision including night and far vision for driving safely.
