As a Full Stack Engineer, you will contribute to the core platform by delivering pioneering features, creating backend systems designed for scalability, and influencing user interaction with AI-driven products. This position emphasizes a hybrid work model based in Munich, Germany.

The engineering team handles the entire stack, encompassing synchronizing vast client data sets and managing millions of large language model calls monthly, plus operating thousands of secure code sandboxes daily. Engineers enjoy significant ownership and impact on products serving German-speaking markets and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy full-stack features utilizing TypeScript and React aimed at creating seamless user experiences.
• Architect and maintain backend infrastructure that supports large-scale data and millions of API calls with strong reliability and security.
• Manage full lifecycle feature ownership—from initial concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Resolve production issues by diagnosing root causes and implementing permanent fixes.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers and contribute constructive code reviews.
• Synchronize and index extensive client data, managing detailed permission controls.
• Optimize systems processing millions of LLM API calls monthly.
• Design and scale environments that support thousands of secure code sandboxes daily.
• Develop foundational infrastructure facilitating quick integration onboarding.
• Collaborate with AI integration teams to enhance platform user experience.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience delivering production-ready full-stack features with React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in Kubernetes-based deployments and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in Docker environments and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
• Proven experience building backend services at scale handling high data volumes and high API request loads, with emphasis on security and dependability.
• Experience managing end-to-end feature life cycles including production debugging and operation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with backend development in Python, tRPC, or related technologies.
• Exposure to Generative AI platforms, LLM APIs, or AI-enhanced developer tools.
• Experience guiding junior engineers and conducting thorough code reviews.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-growing technology product setting.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range between $60,000 and $80,000.
