Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and driven Full-Stack Developer to take ownership of our core software applications. Responsibilities span from designing dependable backend APIs to crafting intuitive and interactive UIs that handle large datasets and complex data structures effectively.

Technical Stack

Languages: Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript.
Frontend: React, Material UI (MUI), React Hook Form.
Backend: Node.js, Express.js, tRPC.
Database: MongoDB.
Development Tools: Git, Docker (preferred).

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Full-Stack Developer focusing on MERN or TypeScript stacks.
Strong mastery of TypeScript advanced capabilities and their application in sizable projects.
Proven experience deploying production-level applications using tRPC for comprehensive type safety.
Specialized knowledge in optimizing MongoDB queries and designing schemas for complex, relational-like datasets.
Interest or background in petroleum engineering concepts such as production data, drilling processes, and reservoir management with specialized technical data.
Exceptional problem-solving aptitude and thorough attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with petroleum engineering topics, especially decline curve analysis.
Experience working with data visualization libraries such as D3.js or ZingChart.
Knowledge of cloud deployment platforms including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Background with mapping or Geographic Information System (GIS) projects.
Contributions to open source initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development: Plan and build new features across back and front ends ensuring high responsiveness and stable performance.
Frontend Development: Implement and sustain complex data-centric user interfaces with React and Material UI; manage intricate form validation through React Hook Form.
Backend Development: Create type-safe APIs utilizing Node.js, Express.js, and tRPC frameworks.
Database Responsibilities: Architect and fine-tune MongoDB queries to support voluminous petroleum data like well logs and time-series production information.
Maintain rigorous TypeScript application across all code for robustness and maintainability.
Collaborate closely with petroleum engineers and product managers to interpret domain challenges into technical implementations.
Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
