Role Overview

Join AutoPresent as a Frontend Engineer to develop polished, intuitive, and high-performance web interfaces. The role involves creating complex presentation tools that support slide editing, document uploads, AI previewing, and workflow management. Our product merges modern web responsiveness with the intricacies of presentation editing.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement responsive user interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Design and build workflows that enable creation, editing, and review of AI-generated presentations.
• Create interactive elements supporting file uploads, slide previews, and rich media content.
• Translate detailed product and design specifications into seamless user experiences.
• Integrate frontend solutions with backend services and AI APIs.
• Develop reusable UI components and contribute to the design system's evolution.
• Enhance page load performance, responsiveness, and ensure cross-browser functionality.
• Manage asynchronous operations with robust handling of loading states, errors, and retries.
• Detect and address usability challenges, suggesting product-level enhancements.
• Maintain high-quality, maintainable code and engage in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and AI specialists.

Candidate Profile

• Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript with strong React development experience.
• Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, responsive layouts, and browser fundamentals.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs effectively.
• Skilled at converting design mockups into pixel-perfect, production-ready interfaces.
• Understanding of component-based architecture and state management methods.
• Highly attentive to visual details and user experience nuances.
• Capable of independently diagnosing and fixing frontend issues.

Desirable Skills: Next.js experience, familiarity with Tailwind CSS or modern component libraries, background working with rich-text editors or canvas-based drag-and-drop interfaces, knowledge of state libraries like Zustand, Redux, or React Query, frontend performance optimization insights, and prior work on SaaS or design productivity software.
