Project Overview
Participate in a website redesign initiative aimed at revitalizing a marketing agency's online presence through a comprehensive overhaul of its Squarespace website. The task involves modernizing the site's visual style, improving user interface and navigation for both desktop and mobile use, and ensuring the website accurately reflects the agency's branding. The site will feature content presented in both English and Latvian to engage a broader audience.
Key Deliverables
- Create a refreshed, visually engaging Squarespace website in alignment with the agency's brand identity.
- Enhance layout and navigational elements to provide an intuitive user experience on all devices.
- Develop and integrate a complete English language version alongside the existing Latvian content, maintaining accessibility in both languages.
- Support or boost existing SEO effectiveness throughout the redesign process.
- Design the site to be manageable and update-friendly for users without technical backgrounds.
- Offer expert advice on best practices for the website's ongoing maintenance and content updating procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrable experience with Squarespace design and development, supported by a portfolio showcasing finished projects.
- Advanced skills in responsive web design, UX/UI strategies, and implementing bilingual website capabilities.
- Sound knowledge of SEO techniques specific to Squarespace sites and experience implementing them.
- Capability to interpret and apply brand standards effectively within website design.
- Excellent communication aptitude and experience collaborating remotely.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with inventive problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to fulfilling project goals.
- Availability to work as a freelance contractor on a project basis remotely.
