About Mindrift and the Role
Mindrift connects experts with cutting-edge technology projects aiming to advance AI development by integrating real-world professional knowledge worldwide. The Tendem project seeks a skilled Brand Designer to craft compelling visual identities for tangible brands and products. This part-time remote freelance role involves designing consistent, modern branding elements to strengthen visual communication across mediums.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create core brand assets such as logos, full visual identities, and detailed color schemes.
- Systematically organize and deliver variations of essential brand components.
- Maintain strict brand consistency on all internal and external content including pitch decks and social media materials.
- Develop scalable, enduring visual systems compliant with current design trends.
- Ensure design quality across digital and print through thorough cross-platform validation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ experience in brand design, graphic design, art direction, or visual communications preferred.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design or a similar creative field is advantageous.
- Demonstrated portfolio focusing on brand identity, logos, and comprehensive guidelines essential.
- Expertise in creating foundational brand assets like logos, color palettes, and typography setups.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma for asset creation and management.
- Ability to translate brand identities flawlessly across formats such as social media, pitch decks, and print collateral.
- Strong organizational skills to build clear brand guidelines and asset libraries.
- Strategic, detail-oriented mindset dedicated to brand equity and visual consistency.
- Self-motivated with independent problem-solving skills; must include branding portfolio with application.
- English language proficiency at upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher required.
Project Details and Compensation
The role typically requires about 10-20 hours weekly during active phases depending on project demands, not guaranteed. Compensation can reach up to $50 per hour, varying by individual contribution and project complexity. Different projects may have different pay scales.
