Gen-e2TM Approach

Role Overview

As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at PALO IT, you will act as a technical leader embedding AI-native practices to enhance team productivity and product quality. You will guide engineering teams, manage project execution, uphold coding and architectural standards, and integrate Gen-E2 methodology to optimize speed, quality, and responsible AI usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the technical strategy and roadmap of engineering projects, providing full-stack expertise and establishing best engineering practices.
• Lead technical decision-making, perform architecture reviews, and ensure adherence to quality benchmarks like automated testing and continuous integration.
• Champion AI-native workflows, including AI-assisted development, testing, and documentation, setting standards for prompt engineering, output validation, and code review of AI-generated assets.
• Mentor and manage engineering teams by fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning while driving performance management and career development.
• Engage with clients to understand needs, design solutions, and support sales initiatives through technical insights and proposals.
• Contribute to reusable components and frameworks to scale delivery capabilities and advance thought leadership through research and experimentation.

Required Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 10 years in software development with recent experience leading client projects and teams.
• Proven leadership in managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong full-stack technology skills, preferably including ReactJS for frontend, and NodeJS, Java, or Python for backend systems.
• Proficiency in designing scalable, robust, and secure applications and solution architecture principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relation abilities.
• Practical, hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) in daily engineering tasks, demonstrating prompt engineering and responsible AI practices.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience with cutting-edge technologies such as decentralized identity, quantum computing, cross-border payments, or advanced smart contracts.
• Familiarity with AI/ML services and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Mobile app development experience (native or hybrid for iOS/Android).
• Certification in AI tooling such as Claude AI (Anthropic) is advantageous.
