Job description
Role Overview
As a Fault Management Center (FMC) Operator, you will be responsible for managing daily operational activities within the FMC. This includes taking calls, monitoring system statuses, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, dispatching tasks, and troubleshooting issues to ensure seamless functioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute routine operational duties at the FMC such as handling incoming calls, system surveillance, stakeholder coordination, task dispatching, and problem resolution.
- Report any system irregularities or pending issues to the team leader promptly.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned to maintain smooth FMC operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Completed at least GCE 'O' Levels or possess a NITEC certification in Office Skills or a related discipline.
- Willing and able to work in 12-hour rotational shifts.
- Have between 2 to 3 years experience in roles like helpdesk, call center, or customer service.
- Possess clear, articulate English communication abilities.
- Demonstrate patience and empathy when interacting with customers and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and related tools.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Exhibit strong organizational capabilities and multitasking proficiency.
- Show understanding of Building Management or Facilities Management domains.
- Work independently while maintaining effective communication.
- Maintain a safety-conscious attitude and adhere to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards.
