Role Overview

This position involves leading the strategic development and daily management of pilot scheduling and resource distribution. The specialist will create robust frameworks that guarantee every flight is staffed with qualified, legally compliant, and well-rested pilots by adhering to GACA regulations, international aviation standards, and optimizing operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design optimized pilot pairings and develop compliant rosters.
• Coordinate training schedules with Flight Operations, Training, and OCC units.
• Balance efficiency, pilot wellness, fatigue risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Network Planning and Scheduling to assess crew allocation and anticipate operational risks.
• Develop mitigation strategies to maintain operational continuity.
• Provide expertise for long-term manpower forecasting and planning system improvements.
• Oversee flight crew recurrent training programs jointly with the Training Department.
• Forecast pilot coverage in alignment with seasonal demands, network growth, and fleet expansion.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate holds a university degree with at least four years of experience in Crew Planning, Crew Scheduling, or Manpower Resource Planning within a commercial airline. Expertise in building pilot pairings, managing rosters, and administering extensive training programs is essential. Familiarity with NetLine Crew and in-depth knowledge of crew management, operations, and training software is highly desirable.
