Overview
Crossfire Consulting is looking for a meticulous Financial Operations Analyst to join their team on a one-year contract based in Philadelphia, PA. This onsite position focuses on ensuring precise and timely financial operations through same-day reconciliation of accounting transactions, thereby supporting controlled processes and dependable financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee ACH transactions, wire transfers, and credit card activities with accurate accounting entries.
- Conduct daily data entry and reconcile financial information using Workday and other banking systems.
- Complete daily closing of General Ledger Transaction Processing Units and track settlement progress.
- Investigate and rectify any account inconsistencies promptly.
- Maintain subsidiary ledgers and allocation tables for multiple general ledger accounts.
- Adhere to accounting checklists and established procedural standards.
- Assist with records management, including coordination with Iron Mountain and physical archiving.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum two years of professional experience in financial operations, accounting, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in processing and reconciling financial transactions.
- Proficient with accounting software, notably Workday.
- Experienced with handling ACH, wire transfers, credit card processing, and checks.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical aptitude and ability to meet daily deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of treasury functions and general ledger accounting processes.
- Previous work experience in Client Bank environments.
- Familiarity with recordkeeping practices and management.
