Financial Director

Position Overview

We are partnering with a renowned international corporation seeking a Finance Director based in Dubai, UAE. This is the chief finance leadership position for the region covering retail and e-commerce sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial activities related to retail and e-commerce operations within the UAE and the broader GCC region.
• Take responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and treasury functions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations, VAT laws, and free zone requirements.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to influence pricing strategies, profit margins, and inventory management decisions.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a finance team comprising seven members.

Candidate Profile

• Possess more than 15 years of experience in finance, including 3 to 5 years in CFO or Head of Finance roles.
• Experience primarily in retail or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.
• Strong experience within the Middle East market, especially within GCC distribution or franchise operations.
• Professional accreditation such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA is essential; proficiency in ERP systems like SAP or Microsoft Dynamics is expected.
