Position Overview
Join SharkNinja APAC in Auckland as a Field Sales Manager to lead and expand our field sales operations. You will guide a team of Territory Managers across the nation to promote our innovative range of appliances, playing a pivotal role in achieving ambitious sales targets through strategy and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and inspire a nationwide team of field sales professionals to meet and surpass sales objectives.
- Devise and execute comprehensive sales strategies aimed at boosting brand visibility and market share within the appliance industry.
- Regularly assess and adjust field territories and call cycles for maximum coverage, including accompanying the team during regional store visits.
- Oversee activation events involving staffing, setups, and product promotion tactics.
- Manage third-party demonstration initiatives effectively.
- Track team performance, establish measurable goals, and deliver continual coaching to optimize productivity and sales results.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to synchronize sales efforts with broader business initiatives and support product launches.
- Modify sales strategies responsively to market dynamics and nurture innovative problem-solving within the team to seize sales opportunities.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with retail clients by understanding their specific needs, ensuring exceptional support and service.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of CRM systems such as Repsly and Salesforce to monitor customer engagement, sales progress, and performance metrics, ensuring the team effectively utilizes these digital tools.
Candidate Profile and Experience
- Minimum of five years’ experience in Field Sales Management, particularly within FMCG or the Electrical channel.
- Proven capabilities in leadership that inspire and drive teams to excel while fostering collaboration.
- Expert negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing deals with key retailers.
- A pragmatic and strategic mindset for effective sales planning and implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships internally and with customers.
- Adaptable and resourceful in fast-evolving environments, able to perform well under pressure.
- Self-motivated and proactive in executing initiatives and completing projects.
- Strong technological proficiency including CRM platforms, sales enablement solutions, and data analytics tools.
