Feed Mill Sanitation Worker

Role Overview

Join our team at Koch Foods, Inc. as a Feed Mill Sanitation Worker responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the production facility. This position involves cleaning equipment and production areas, preparing and applying foot bath solutions, as well as logging chemical and product usage alongside task completions.

Shift Details

This role operates on the 1st shift.

Key Duties

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the feed mill facility.
• Clean machinery and production zones.
• Mix, test, and apply foot bath solutions.
• Document chemical/product use and record task and check completions.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned related to sanitation responsibilities.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Work in a cold and wet setting with temperatures around 45ºF (4ºC).
• Stand for over 8 hours daily.
• Be exposed to high noise levels (>85 decibels), CO2, and operating production lines.
• Lift and move weights regularly exceeding 25 pounds, including machinery pushing and moving.
• Frequently climb ladders.
• Be regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and hazardous chemicals.
• Handle high-pressure water hoses operating at 900 PSI continually.

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
