Facility Manager

Role overview

KAIZEN Asset Management Services is a property management company based in Dubai that delivers end-to-end facility management support. The business is looking for an experienced Facility Manager to help maintain safe, well-functioning buildings and keep property operations running smoothly.

In this role, you will take charge of building-related operations, ensure infrastructure remains in good condition, and make sure all facilities are operating safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage all activities related to the building and its infrastructure.
• Maintain the condition, safety, and functionality of property facilities.
• Oversee policy implementation, building insurance, planned preventive maintenance, documentation, procedures, and operational programs.
• Ensure buildings and facilities are managed and maintained to a high standard.
• Lead and support staff while addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
• Promote environmental health and safety practices across operations.
• Support quality-focused programs and continuous service improvement.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• The role specifically requires an engineer, preferably with a civil engineering background, with MEP knowledge.
• You should have 5 to 7 years of experience in facility management or a comparable position.
• Hands-on experience in contract negotiation and contract administration is expected.
• Good understanding of insurance claims is necessary.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities are essential.
• You must be able to solve problems effectively and make sound decisions.
• Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills are needed.
• The job requires the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving work environment.
• Proficiency with facility management systems and Microsoft Office tools is expected.
• You should have solid knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and repair processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal skills, are important.
• A customer-focused approach is required.
• A valid UAE driving license and access to reliable transportation are mandatory.
