Role Overview

The EY wavespace Facilitator in Riyadh plays a pivotal role at the crossroads of EY MENA's commercial approach, specializing in human-centered design methodologies and innovation facilitation. This position demands adeptness in AI and digital technologies coupled with the ability to lead critical executive discussions among prominent regional leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and lead sessions end-to-end, ensuring all logistical, technical, and material needs are arranged efficiently.
• Align session design with clearly defined objectives to maximize impact.
• Engage in strategic planning across multiple concurrent client programs.
• Foster an inclusive environment that encourages open participation before, during, and after sessions.
• Exhibit strong emotional intelligence, managing session energy, flow, and inspiration effectively.
• Demonstrate skilled listening and navigate complex or sensitive discussions confidently.
• Promote collaborative teamwork by sharing accountability and enabling contributions from all participants.
• Serve as the communication bridge with experience leaders and team members.
• Understand context behind sessions, contribute to documenting outcomes for pipeline opportunities, and support pre-sales activities.
• Manage session logistics meticulously, including technology, planning, and materials.
• Assist in refining facilitation methods and mentor new facilitators within the network as it expands.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience and confidence in facilitation or training roles, especially with senior executives.
• Successfully conducted high-impact innovation sessions with executive stakeholders; professional certification in Innovation & Design Thinking is advantageous.
• Strong literacy in AI and digital technologies to lead strategic discussions on automation and digital operations.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure, contested discussions at Director level and above.
• Creative problem-solving and real-time challenge navigation skills.
• Client-facing consulting or advisory experience at senior levels preferred over purely internal roles.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Degree or certification in Innovation & Design Thinking.
• Experience or strong familiarity with Energy, Infrastructure, and Government sectors; rapid learning ability expected if direct exposure is lacking.
• Knowledge of practical AI use cases in industry or consulting environments.
• Business development and event planning expertise.
• Willingness and ability to travel across the MENA region.
• Preference for Saudi nationals.
