Role Overview
Larsen & Toubro is hiring an Executive for business development in Bengaluru. The role focuses on expanding the customer base, converting opportunities into revenue, and supporting growth across multiple high-technology manufacturing and industrial segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify fresh business prospects across industrial electronics, telecom, automotive, medical devices, defence, and consumer electronics.
- Build pipeline and close leads for PCB assembly, box build solutions, ODM/OEM engagements, and system integration work.
- Own the sales process from lead generation through enquiry handling, RFQ review, cost coordination, proposal preparation, negotiation, and final order closure.
- Develop lasting relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 accounts, and procurement stakeholders.
- Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and production functions to align on technical requirements and commercial terms.
- Support revenue growth targets and broader business expansion plans.
- Carry out market research and compare competitor offerings and positioning.
- Assist with localisation efforts and value-add initiatives that support domestic manufacturing.
