MADE Hoops is a leading grassroots basketball events organizer across North America established in 2014. The organization aims to maximize athlete development and visibility by running over 100 boys and girls basketball events annually. These include competitive camps for every age group, middle and high school tournaments, and a prominent independent high school circuit. Their alumni include numerous McDonald's All-Americans, NCAA athletes, and NBA players. Apart from events, MADE Hoops operates commercial ventures involving merchandise, brand partnerships, housing, scouting, content, and digital marketing.

Role Overview

The Event Manager Intern position supports recruitment, communication, and event operations for seasonal tournaments and circuits. It involves building and maintaining relationships with both new and returning teams, overseeing outreach, ensuring timely updates about registration, payments, schedules, and event details. The intern will manage records in Sales HQ, assist finance with payment tracking, and support event scheduling and communications during events.

Key Responsibilities

Manage outreach and organization for City and Winter Circuits
Coordinate money collection and event scheduling
Support team communications before and during events including schedule modifications

Qualifications

Currently enrolled college student or recent graduate with a strong interest in sports
Excellent communication capabilities
Highly self-driven with exceptional work ethic

Additional Details

Position duration: September to November 2026
Part-time schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Remote role with chances to travel to camp locations
Compensation: College credit for seniors, unpaid for recent graduates
