Overview

Renewyx is collaborating with a growing commercial general contractor in Indiana, who is actively delivering projects statewide and seeking to hire an Estimator to support their expanding workload. The company maintains a consistent and diverse flow of commercial projects and requires precise, well-founded cost estimates to drive project success from proposal stages through award.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive quantity takeoffs for commercial construction projects from the ground up.
• Lead the evaluation and comparison of subcontractor bids to ensure competitive pricing.
• Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates to support project proposals and awarding decisions.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience estimating commercial construction projects from the ground up.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to accurately produce detailed quantity takeoffs.
• Strong understanding of current market pricing and subcontractor bid comparison techniques.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Familiarity with On-Screen Takeoff or Bluebeam software tools.
• Experience in design-build estimating processes.
• Established relationships with regional subcontractors.
• Previous experience working within the commercial construction industry.
