About the Role
This role provides a unique opportunity for experienced equity research professionals to contribute their expertise to cutting-edge AI research projects focused on enhancing analysis of companies, financial statements, and public regulatory filings.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze publicly accessible company financial data and regulatory disclosures.
- Review and extract pertinent financial and corporate details from SEC documents such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K filings, and other public reports.
- Assess the precision, completeness, and quality of financial analyses and AI-generated outputs.
- Employ equity research techniques to evaluate company performance, financial trends, and business fundamentals.
- Provide well-structured, transparent feedback to improve AI-driven financial analysis accuracy.
- Conduct thorough research on companies and industries using available public information.
- Apply consistent, evidence-based judgment in reviewing financial research and analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in equity research at top-tier financial institutions, investment or research firms, or equivalent settings.
- Proficient in analyzing and extracting data from public SEC filings.
- Strong grasp of financial statements, accounting principles, corporate fundamentals, and valuation methods.
- Experience in detailed company and industry analyses.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in building financial models, earnings assessments, investment research, or company valuation.
- Experience reviewing a variety of public company disclosures including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K reports, earnings releases, and investor presentations.
- Track record of generating or vetting high-quality institutional equity research.
- Previous involvement with AI training, model evaluation, or projects handling financial data is advantageous.
Compensation & Engagement
- Competitive hourly rate of $120.
- Compensation paid weekly.
- Role engaged on an independent contractor basis.
- Estimated commitment of at least 10 hours per week.
