Role Summary
We are seeking an English Specialist for a part-time contract role to work remotely from anywhere globally. The specialist will assess English proficiency tests completed by non-native speakers, involving evaluation of both written and oral responses to ensure they align with set assessment standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess written and spoken English to determine proficiency levels.
- Assign grades to evaluations following detailed criteria and rubrics.
- Deliver precise and consistent feedback regarding language performance.
- Keep comprehensive records of evaluation outcomes to support quality assurance.
- Respect deadlines rigorously and preserve confidentiality of test materials.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possess native or near-native English proficiency.
- Preferably have prior experience in language testing, teaching, or related areas.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to adhere to structured evaluation procedures.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of language proficiency frameworks such as CEFR is advantageous.
