Richard Crookes Constructions is expanding and is looking for construction engineers at multiple levels to join project teams based in Sydney. The positions are focused on building projects and suit engineers who want practical, site-based work on complex developments.

Key Duties

The exact scope will vary by seniority, but the role generally involves supporting building project delivery from early works through to practical completion.

• Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and site activities.
• Assist with programme planning, quality assurance, and budget/cost management.
• Handle RFIs, variations, progress claims, and project reporting.
• Make sure work aligns with drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and the wider delivery team.

Candidate Profile

• Strong background in building construction is required.
• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is needed.
• Prior experience in Site Engineer, Project Engineer, or Senior Project Engineer positions is preferred.
• Comfort working on active construction sites in fast-moving project environments.
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Sydney for long-term opportunities.

Important Notes

Applicants with experience limited to civil infrastructure work such as roads, rail, or utilities will not be shortlisted unless they can show direct experience in building construction projects.
