Engineer Maintenance Instrumentation

Job Overview

This role involves executing workshop services and planning jobs related to the maintenance of instrumentation systems at the site. The objective is to guarantee uninterrupted operations while complying with all statutory regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to all relevant organizational policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure controlled and consistent work execution.
• Stay updated on industry leading practices and trends to contribute towards continuous enhancement of systems and processes.
• Develop and standardize test procedures and formats to implement best practices and group guidelines for instrumentation system enhancements.
• Support preparation of workshop maintenance budgeting and provide input for resource optimization and planning.
• Create daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules for instrumentation activities in collaboration with planning and plant maintenance teams.
• Ensure consistent achievement of maintenance key performance indicators (KPIs) for workshop instrumentation.
• Carry out critical instrumentation maintenance tasks upholding high-quality standards.
• Coordinate with other departments and external vendors for repairs and oversee maintenance activities related to instrumentation equipment in common site areas.
• Manage planned turnaround and shutdown activities for instrumentation equipment to ensure timely maintenance, testing, and calibration.
• Assist in inventory management of instrumentation spare parts, including identification, tracking, inspection, and ensuring availability and standardization of critical spares.
• Provide support in troubleshooting critical issues and perform repairs/refurbishment of instrumentation equipment or components.
• Prepare compliance documentation and support adherence to statutory, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, including mandatory trainings.
• Maintain repair, test records, management information system (MIS), and reporting documents related to instrumentation maintenance promptly.

Education Requirements

• Essential: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Instrumentation or Electronics streams, or a Master's degree preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Essential: 1 to 3 years of experience in industrial or instrument workshop maintenance fields.
• Preferred knowledge: Various codes and standards, domain knowledge of Instrumentation Engineering, workshop practices.
