Job Overview
We are seeking a proficient Electrician Maintenance Technician to handle assembly, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems in EOT cranes. The role demands adherence to safety and quality standards while working on industrial electrical setups.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical wiring, panel assembly, and cable routing specifically for EOT cranes.
- Install and connect motors, brakes, limit switches, pendant stations, and control panels ensuring functionality.
- Interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and circuit schematics accurately.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuits, control panels, and overall crane operations.
- Install and set up Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), contactors, relays, Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs), Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs), and overload relays.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults encountered during assembly and testing phases.
- Provide assistance during crane commissioning and on-site installation activities when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures while maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with production and quality assurance teams to ensure timely project completion.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Mandatory qualification: ITI Electrician certification.
- Preferred qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 2-5 years in EOT crane manufacturing, heavy engineering, or industrial electrical maintenance. Fresh candidates with relevant ITI training may also be considered.
- Eligible Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechatronics Engineering, or any ITI specialization.
Required Skills
- Expertise in industrial electrical wiring and control panel assembly.
- Hands-on experience managing motors, brakes, VFDs, limit switches, pendant controls, and conducting electrical testing.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams effectively.
- Skillful troubleshooting and fault isolation in electrical circuits and control systems.
