Electrician

About the Role

This position involves responsible electrical work at construction sites, including installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical systems. The electrician must ensure compliance with safety standards and accurate execution according to approved plans and company policies.

Key Duties

• Install electrical wiring, conduits, switches, sockets, distribution boards, and lighting fixtures in residential and commercial projects.
• Interpret and follow electrical drawings and schematics precisely.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair faults in electrical systems using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Maintain proper grounding and adhere to electrical safety protocols.
• Collaborate closely with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades to coordinate work efficiently.
• Keep electrical equipment in working order and identify material needs, reporting progress daily to supervisors.
• Strictly follow all company safety policies and regulatory electrical standards.

Required Qualifications

• ITI certification or Diploma in Electrician Trade or comparable qualification is preferred.
• Work experience ranging from one to five years within real estate or construction environments.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical wiring techniques, panel installation, fittings, and safety measures.
• Competency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and utilizing electrical testing devices.
• Physically capable and willing to perform duties at active construction sites.

Compensation
