This role is based in our Onehunga workshop, Auckland, and offers a wage of $23.95 per hour.

While we are not hiring apprentices immediately, we are looking for a workshop assistant to support essential background operations that keep our electrical business functioning smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing orders accurately and maintaining stock records.
• Providing general office and workshop administrative support.
• Assisting the team with day-to-day operational tasks.

As you gain experience and the business grows, you will begin attending onsite jobs with our crew to acquire practical knowledge. Demonstrating capability and promise may lead to an apprenticeship position later in the year, giving you a significant head start in electrical industry expertise.

• Proven experience delivering exemplary customer service and enjoying interacting with clients.
• Hands-on and practical mindset with familiarity using basic tools.

• A positive outlook with a proactive, can-do approach to tasks.
• Must hold a full, clean New Zealand driver's license and be legally permitted to work in New Zealand without visa restrictions.
• No criminal record is required.
• Ideal candidates are in their 20s or 30s with some prior workforce experience.
