Electrical Supervisor Shift In Charge

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor Shift In Charge to oversee electrical maintenance operations at our steel manufacturing plant located in Abu Dhabi. This role demands a hands-on leader proficient in managing electrical systems to ensure continuous plant functionality.

Key Duties

• Oversee and manage all electrical maintenance tasks during the allocated shift.
• Lead and supervise a team of electrical technicians to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.
• Respond promptly to electrical failures and execute both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain and monitor electrical infrastructure including motors, drives, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), MCCs (Motor Control Centers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), transformers, and control panels.
• Collaborate with production and mechanical maintenance teams to reduce operational downtime.
• Strictly enforce adherence to safety protocols, permit-to-work procedures, and company policies.
• Document shift activities meticulously by preparing reports and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a diploma in related electrical or engineering fields.
• Between 5 to 7 years of experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Fluent in English language communication.
• Experienced in managing electrical components and systems common in steel manufacturing or comparable industries.
