Electrical Project Engineer

K M Y Electrical Engineering Pte Ltd has been a key player in powering Singapore's built environment since 1994. After over three decades of steady progress, the company is seeking a committed Electrical Project Engineer to join its team full-time. This role offers comprehensive, hands-on experience covering the entire electrical scope from high voltage to low voltage systems, with mentorship from experienced professionals in Singapore's mechanical and electrical industry. New hires will receive meaningful responsibility immediately and ongoing support to develop as future leaders within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of contractual works to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet specifications
• Oversee installation progress and coordinate closely with clients and consultants to enable timely and smooth project delivery
• Regularly track and report the status of projects
• Supervise site activities to guarantee adherence to contract drawings and technical specifications
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings, installation checklists, testing and commissioning documents, progress reports, and other essential paperwork associated with mechanical and electrical works
• Collaborate with clients and consultants on shop drawing creation and submission
• Assist in preparing technical submissions alongside suppliers
• Support the Project Manager with procurement activities, negotiating material, equipment, and labor costs within the project budget
• Provide guidance and supervision to site Supervisors
• Communicate with authorities and clients regarding submissions, inspections, testing, and commissioning procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Have between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience within the Singapore construction sector
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and drafting software
• Strong capability in site management and supervision
• Available to commence work immediately or within a short notice period

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from SGD 4,000 to SGD 6,000 per month, based on experience
