About the Role
We seek a dedicated full-time Electrical Designer to join our team involved in impactful projects spanning Renewable Energy, Thermal Energy, Water, and Power industries. This permanent role offers engagements from initial concept through detailed design and construction phases, contributing to essential infrastructure and energy transition initiatives.
As an Electrical Designer, you will develop comprehensive electrical design outputs and assist project teams across a wide variety of industrial and infrastructure assignments.

Key Responsibilities
- Create electrical drawings, models, layouts, and documentation.
- Prepare detailed cable schedules, wiring diagrams, termination drawings, and equipment layouts.
- Support low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) electrical design processes.
- Engage in multidisciplinary design reviews and coordination meetings.
- Adhere to industry standards, client specifications, and safety protocols.
- Assist in design support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Promote a safe and sustainable work environment by adhering to Worley’s health, safety, and environmental policies.
Candidate Profile
- Practical experience in renewable energy, thermal energy, water or wastewater systems, power generation, transmission, or distribution sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other electrical design software tools.
- Strong capability in generating electrical design documentation and construction-ready deliverables.
- Robust knowledge of electrical design principles and relevant industry standards.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with engineers, designers, clients, and stakeholders.
Desirable Additional Experience
- Knowledge of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) power systems, substations, and switchgear.
- Familiarity with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Competency in 3D modelling and digital engineering technologies.
