About the Role
This position entails collaborating with Entity Asia on major projects for Aramco located in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a seasoned Quality Control Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Inspector who holds Saudi Aramco approval to uphold stringent quality and compliance standards in electrical and instrumentation systems pertaining to Oil & Gas projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical and instrumentation work based on approved design documents and specifications.
- Verify the procedures for cable installations such as laying, termination, glanding, and routing to ensure precision.
- Inspect the setup of various instruments, control panels, junction boxes, and other field devices.
- Oversee and validate testing and commissioning processes, including continuity tests, insulation resistance measurements, and loop checks.
- Ensure all work aligns with Saudi Aramco standards as well as international codes and best practices.
- Review material inspection reports, test results, and compliance documentation critically.
- Maintain detailed QA/QC documentation such as inspection reports and punch lists.
- Detect and document any deviations from standards and facilitate corrective action follow-ups.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must possess Saudi Aramco approval and have passed the Computer Based Training (CBT).
- At least five years of work experience focused on Aramco Oil & Gas projects is required.
- Demonstrable expertise in inspection of painting and coating applications.
- Holding NACE Level 1 or Level 2 certifications related to coating inspection is highly preferred or often mandatory.
- Certifications such as CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI for Welding Inspection are advantageous.
- ASNT Level II qualifications in ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and penetrant testing (PT) are also valued.
- Successful completion of Aramco CBT training is compulsory.
